Bald Rock Vineyard in Victoria's Strathbogie Ranges, is the home to the largest privately owned monolith (rock) in Australia. An icon in the making, the Bald Rock 2005 Pinot Noir has been noted as an outstanding newcomer to the region, presenting a premium hand picked, single vineyard boutique product.

Brief

The team at Bald Rock Vineyard came to us with with sketches and paintings of the rock which stands above their vineyard to create a fresh new look for their latest batch of 2005 Pinot Noir. As the wine is full bodied, distinctive and has a very unique taste, they wanted the label to reflect all that the wine entails but also encompassing the original style of Bald Rock.

The Solution

We produced, from the sketches given of the bald rock itself, a label which represented the new fresh taste of the wine with the old style of the Bald Rock landscape. The vineyard itself at night is very windy, which is represented with swirls as well as the dark surroundings. It was not much of a jump to then follow on from that design with the business cards to provide a solution that Bald Rock were very pleased with.
