Telstra Dome

Just minutes from the CBD, the Telstra Dome is a well designed, multi-use stadium which provides a variety of areas for all function and conference venue requirements. The 15 function rooms are perfect for the football main events and countless other hospitality packages.

Brief

Telstra Dome have many requirements that include Function Books, Menu Books and Swing Tags for functions.

Solution

When designing the new menu books for 2007, we used the same minimalistic design elements from the previous book to create a clean and crisp look. We took it a little further by using the clean images and white space with silver touches to embrace the style and class that Telstra Dome exudes.

The AFL Grand Final Brunch swing tag was created in a couple of versions, the differential colours nominating the room in which each event was taking place. It was designed to stand out from the rest, hence the dark background colour - highlighting the AFL and Toyota logo.

Each year for games leading up the the football grand final, all people attending functions in the Telstra Dome main function rooms are required to wear a swing tag in order to gain entry to their room. These swing tags were designed to show the fantastic shot of the grounds at night, just showing the iconic stadium roof in the background. These tags were printed allowing the specific space for barcoding along with maps and directions on the flipside.
